Coupon System – Functionality and Configuration Guide

1. Overview

This document explains how the coupon system works and provides detailed instructions on how to create and configure coupons within the platform.

2. Coupon Code Definition

Each coupon must have a unique Code consisting of at least six alphanumeric characters, written in uppercase letters.
Example: ABCDEF

This code serves as the identifier customers will use when redeeming their coupon.

3. Coupon Configuration Options

When creating a coupon, several parameters can be defined depending on the desired behavior.

3.1 Discount

Defines the percentage discount applied to the customer’s purchase.
Example: setting Discount = 10% will reduce the order total by 10%.

3.2 Maximum Discount

Specifies the maximum monetary amount that can be deducted per order.
Example: if Maximum Discount = 20 €, even if 10% discount would normally exceed 20 €, only 20 € will be applied.

You may combine both Discount and Maximum Discount. In that case:

  • The system calculates the percentage discount.

  • If the resulting amount exceeds the maximum discount, the maximum discount value is applied instead.

3.3 Credit

Defines the total available value of the coupon.

  • Example: If Credit = 100 €, the customer can use the coupon until the total discount amount reaches 100 €.
After that, the coupon will automatically be deactivated.

  • If a Maximum Discount of 20 € is also set, the coupon can be used five times (5 × 20 € = 100 €).

  • To create a coupon with unlimited credit, leave this field blank.

3.4 Amount

Specifies how many times the coupon can be used in total, regardless of credit or discount limits.
Example: Amount = 10 → coupon can be redeemed ten times across all customers.

3.5 Expiration Date

Defines the validity period of the coupon. After the expiration date, the coupon becomes inactive and cannot be used.

5. Notes

  • Coupons can be configured for single-use or multi-use scenarios.

  • The system automatically enforces all defined limits (discount percentage, maximum amount, total credit, and expiration date).

  • Leaving optional fields blank will set them as unlimited.

Loyalty system

The system is incrementing 1 loyalty point for every 5€ spent (or equivalent in other currencies). For example:

  • Order with total sum 4€: +0 loyalty points

  • Order with total sum 9€: +1 loyalty point

  • Order with total sum 20€: +4 loyalty points

Once the customer reaches entered value (first input in the picture below), he/she can claim their reward in the next order (second input).

Slides

Slides are pictures that are displayed on the kiosks while they are not being used.

For the new Slide press New Slide button on the top right or edit existing by pressing the setting wheel and Edit. Other than choosing picture you can also specify how long should it be displayed before the next one appears (in milliseconds), on which restaurants should it be displayed or in what order they should be sorted.

Slide format: jpg, 1080x1920 where 1/3 of the picture (bottom) is covered by kiosk instructions how to exit the slides.
