If, for example, you run out of a specific type of food or sales item during the day. You can easily disable such an item in Eatster Admin.
Disabling the display of an item can also be used for seasonal items or those that alternate with another at certain intervals.
It is also possible to force the display of an item only on a specific device, for example in the Kiosk, eKasa cash register or in Eatster applications. An example could be the sale of a specific item exclusively "in person" when selling to employees via the eKasa cash register, in which case the hiding of the items in Kiosks and in Eatster applications will be set.
This will prevent unnecessary order cancellations.
Completely disabling an item
To completely disable the sale of an item through Eatster, click the Hidden in: button, then click Mark all in the menu that appears. Confirm your choice by clicking the Update button.
In the table with the product list, the system shows you on which Eatster platforms you have hidden the item. I.e. in Apps, Kiosks and Cashiers.
Hiding an item only in Kiosks and Apps
If you want to complete the sale of the item via Eatster Kiosks and web and mobile applications, click the Hidden in: button then in the displayed menu, select Hide Kiosk and Hide Apps. Confirm your choice by clicking the Update button.
In the table with the product list, the system shows you on which Eatster platforms you have the item hidden. I.e. in Applications and Kiosks.
Displaying the item
If you want to enable (after previously hiding) the sale of the item via Eatster Kiosks and web and mobile applications, click the Hidden in: button then in the displayed menu, uncheck all options or click Cancel all button. Confirm your choice by clicking the Update button.
In the table with the product list, the system shows you on which Eatster platforms you have the item hidden. I.e. in this case it is displayed everywhere.
The update on devices is automatic. In web and mobile applications it is immediate. Refresh on Kiosks takes a few minutes depending on the settings, usually about 10-15 minutes.
