An item discount can be added to each item individually.
In the top menu, click Menu and you will see a list of items.
In the list of items above the item on the right, click the gear wheel and you will see a menu of options above the item. Click the Make a deal button.
In the Eatster administration, you have the option to create two types of discounts:
Leftover - Final Sale
Happy Hour
Creating a discount - Leftover
The Leftover discount type is used to sell off the last portions before closing the business.
Remaining leftover portions - the number of remaining portions represents the number of pieces that can be sold at a reduced price. After the item is sold out, it will automatically stop appearing in the menu.
Reduced price - the discounted price at which the given number of items will be sold.
Sale applies to all variants as well? - check the box if the discount should also be applied to all variants of the given item
To save the discount settings, click the Create button.
After creating a discount, this discount is also displayed in the item list table. You can quickly and easily update the Remaining leftover portions in it, then save this change by clicking the Update portions button. Alternatively, you can also make a complete edit by clicking the Edit button.
The Delete button will remove the assigned discount. Please note that this operation is irreversible.
Create a Discount - Happy Hour
The Happy Hour discount type is used to create a discount that is limited in time.
From when - select the date and time from which the discounted price should apply
To when - select the date and time until which the discounted price should apply
Reduced price - the discounted price at which the item will be sold
Repeat every week at the same time? - check this box for a weekly repeat of the discount
Repeat every day at the same time? - check this box for a daily repeat of the discount
Sale applies to all variants as well? - check the box if the discount should also be applied to all variants of the item
To save the discount settings, click the Create button.
After creating the discount Happy Hour, this discount is also displayed in the item list table. You can edit the discount by clicking the Edit button and then saving.
