After creating a warehouse, this warehouse is empty. Goods and raw materials are created during the first time adding them to the warehouse.
Subsequently, it is necessary to connect these raw materials from the warehouse with the sold goods.
On the Stocks > Stock updates subpage, click the New stock update button.
Receipt to warehouse - adding warehouse movement
Through the new warehouse movement, it is possible to add several items and types of goods or raw materials to the warehouse.
It is important to set the Stock added at for each stock movement. The date of addition represents the date on which the warehouse movement is to be carried out. In our case, storage.
You can write a note for each warehouse movement so that you know what kind of movement it is. The note can also be a delivery note or invoice number.
Adding an item to the warehouse movement
It is possible to add an existing item to the warehouse movement or create a new one directly after saving the warehouse movement.
For each item, you must set your own quantity (amount), unit, unit purchase price. The Expiration date is optional.
To add another row / item, press the green plus button.
Creating a new item
In the name field, start writing the name of the item, if the given item is not in the list, the label New item will appear.
Adding an existing item
In the name field, start writing the name of the item, if it already exists, select it from the list. This matches the stock movement to an already existing stock item.
Add to Storage in the past
If the Stock added at is set to the past, the items in the receipt are added to the warehouse on this date. If, by chance, sales have already been made on existing items in Eatster after this date, then Etster will automatically deduct these sales from the warehouse retroactively.
The warehouse report will show the real state after deduction of sales.
Saving the warehouse movement
You have to save the completed warehouse movement by pressing the Save button.
