Know-how Documentation: Dual Screen Mode

This documentation explains how to use the Dual Screen feature on devices with a 10" screen or larger. The feature allows you to operate in Cashier Mode while simultaneously viewing and managing open orders, similar to the Kitchen Display mode.

The Dual Screen feature enables you to:

  • monitor open orders in real time,

  • manage current orders,

  • use both the cashier and kitchen display at the same time.

1. Opening the Second Screen

Once the feature is activated:

  1. Go to the main screen of the application.

  2. Open the Second Screen.

The second screen will allow you to manage the kitchen display just as you are used to in the Kitchen Display Mode.

2. Using Dual Screen in Cashier Mode

When you switch to Cashier Mode, the second screen will automatically switch to the Edit Order mode, where you can manage orders in real time.

Features available in Edit Order mode:

2.1 Adjusting the quantity of meals

  • You can easily add or remove meals using the + / - buttons.

  • If you need to set a higher quantity quickly, you can use the “pcs” button (pieces).

After selecting the item you want to modify, you can adjust the number of pieces as needed.

2.2 Editing items

  • You can edit items piece by piece.

if you need to change only one subitem you will be asked if it is for all of them or just few of them

2.3 Discounts

  • You can apply discounts individually to each item.

  • Alternatively, you can apply a discount to all items at once.

Summary

Dual Screen mode significantly improves the workflow by allowing you to:

  • operate the cashier system,

  • monitor order progress in the kitchen,

  • edit orders directly on the second screen.
