Before you start, make sure you understand the difference between the modes as described in the Initial Launch article.
There are two ways how to change the modes:
From the hidden menu (to access the hidden menu, tap rapidly into top left corner until you are asked to enter the password, unless you didn't set up your own custom password, enter the default password "1")
From the quick menu (available only if you are already in Cash Register or Kitchen Display modes)
